Specific scope, pricing, and scheduling for any job will be provided in a separate estimate, quote, or work order agreed to by the customer.
2. Estimates and Quotes
- Estimates provided through the Site, by phone, or in person are based on the information and access available at the time of the estimate and are subject to change if actual site conditions differ (e.g., hidden obstacles, additional debris, tree condition, access issues).
- Estimates are not a guarantee of final price unless expressly stated as a fixed quote in writing.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated at the time they are given, or 30 days if no period is stated.
3. Scheduling and Access
- Customers are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the work site, including clearing the area of vehicles, pets, personal property, and children during work.
- Scheduling may be affected by weather, emergency jobs, equipment availability, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any changes.
- Customers must disclose known hazards (e.g., underground utilities, septic systems, unstable structures, power lines) prior to the start of work.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms (deposit requirements, due dates, accepted payment methods) will be specified in your estimate, invoice, or work order.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the Services.
- Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest as permitted by law.
- We reserve the right to place a lien on the property or pursue collections for unpaid invoices, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Customers may cancel or reschedule services by contacting us as far in advance as possible.
- Cancellations made with insufficient notice (e.g., after crew and equipment have been dispatched) may be subject to a cancellation or trip fee, as disclosed at the time of scheduling.
6. Property and Liability
- We carry general liability insurance and, where applicable, workers’ compensation coverage for our crews. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
- While we take reasonable precautions to protect lawns, driveways, fences, and other property, tree work carries inherent risk of incidental damage (e.g., minor lawn disturbance, debris fallout). We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or conditions not disclosed to us in advance.
- Customers agree to notify us promptly (within 48 hours of job completion) of any damage claim so it can be inspected and addressed.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodema Tree Service’s liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Tree Health and Outcomes
- Tree care is a biological and environmental process, and outcomes (such as tree survival after pruning, stump regrowth, or long-term tree health) cannot be guaranteed.
- Recommendations regarding tree removal, trimming, or treatment are based on our professional assessment at the time of service but do not constitute a guarantee against future disease, pest issues, storm damage, or failure.
8. Permits and Local Regulations
- Some tree work (particularly removal of certain protected or heritage trees) may require a permit from your local municipality or HOA approval.
- Unless expressly agreed in writing that Lodema Tree Service will obtain permits on the customer’s behalf, it is the customer’s responsibility to confirm and obtain any required permits or approvals prior to work beginning.

When using our Site, you agree not to:
